Day 1: Arusha

Your international flight will arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your will be picked up from the airport by our representative and driven to your accommodation which is close to Arusha city. Relax and settle from your long flight and prepare for unforgettable adventure.

Day 2: Fly to Northern Serengeti

Start your amazing safari by flying to the Serengeti. Upon arrival in the Northern Serengeti, you will meet your safari guide, who will pick you up and get you ready for an exciting game drive tracking the Wildebeest Migration. The Northern Serengeti is a focal point to witness the Great Migration during this time of the year as the herds navigate south from Maasai Mara. The area features gorgeous landscapes and incredible wildlife, and, most importantly, the Great Migration!

Day 3: Northern Serengeti

Nothing can prepare you to the spectacular sight of large migrant herds of wildebeest and zebra trying to cross their most serious obstacle yet, The Mara River. The steep banks, fast flowing, crocodile infested Mara River provides a significant challenge to the herds that result in some of the highly unforgettable moments of your trip. The Great Migration in Northern Serengeti also offers chance to see the big cats and other carnivores hunting the migrating herbivores.

Day 4: Central Serengeti

Dropping down to the central Serengeti to see the herds that have already moved south is a beautiful sight on its own. From granite Kopjes, endless grass plains, the “Big Five” animals (Elephants, Rhinos, Leopards, Buffalos, Lions) are sights that are guaranteed to make you time in Central Serengeti worthwhile. Enjoy a full day on game drives and finally relax at your accommodation while relishing the beautiful sunset of the Serengeti.

Day 5: Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater

A morning game drive through the Serengeti as you head towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is an experience filled with wonderful game viewing as the animals start their adventure on the plains. Reaching the Ngorongoro, you will head to the crater rim and gaze down on the magnificent landscape of the crater floor teeming with wildlife.

You may choose to head to your accommodation to relax or take on nearby attractions of Ngorongoro like visiting Maasai villages, a tour of Olduvai Gorge or the beautiful Empakai Crater.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater – Tarangire National Park

Descend from the Crater’s rim to the floor and experience the most amazing geological feature in Africa and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa. Formed three million years ago, and with a distinctive habitat, the crater is home to one of the densest wildlife populations on earth.

Get to explore and discover nearly every animal species of the East African savanna in the grass steppes and acacia forest, including the “Big Five” (rhino, elephant, Cape buffalo, lion, leopard). With more than 500 species of bird, the crater is a birder’s paradise.

After a picnic lunch on the crater floor, you head back your lodging to relax and enjoy nature.

Day 7: Tarangire National Park - Airport

On this day you will head to the Tarangire, home to the largest concentration of elephants in Northen Tanzania. Animal life is drawn to the Tarangire River during the dry season which runs through the park. Predator sightings are plentiful as you watch mammals like giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, and different kinds of antelopes including gazelles. With more than 550 different species, including the Maasai Ostrich, the largest bird in the world, Tarangire is a birdwatcher’s delight.

After a picnic lunch in the Tarangire, you head back to Arusha for your outbound flight.
