Safari briefing will take place after a hearty breakfast on your safari itinerary in Kenya and the optional activities you may undertake. Today you will proceed to various attractions to visit in Nairobi including the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Animal Orphanage in a secluded area of the Nairobi National Park, the Giraffe Centre. You can also choose to relax at the hotel.

Take a guided boat tour of this beautiful lake and witness abundant wildlife from hippos to water birds such as pelicans and cranes passing Crescent Island where zebras, giraffes, buffaloes and many other animals live. Without a doubt one of the standout highlights of the trip, the Masai Mara game reserve. We will spend the whole day in the reserve well known for the Big Five (leopard, lion, elephant, rhino and buffalo), the large elephant and buffalo herds but even more so for the annual migration of a million strong wildebeest arriving from the Serengeti plains in Tanzania.

Explore another day of the magnificent reserve during the crack of dawn for an early game drive. Enjoy the wonderful sunrise and early morning hours wildlife activity while still calm.
You will return to the lodge for breakfast. Take some time to sit back and enjoy beautiful vistas at the lodge as we use the rest of the afternoon for more game drives.

Today your journey in Kenya will come to an end. After an early breakfast as you will travel towards Kenya-Tanzania border where you will meet with your new Tanzanian guide. You will head towards Serengeti National Park for an afternoon game drive and return in the evening to your accommodation.

With its vast grasslands that stretch as far as the eye can see, an early morning drive and early evening drives into the central Serengeti are surely one of the highlights of your trip. You proceed to the Seronera area, one of the park’s greatest wildlife concentration areas, home to the Seronera River, a crucial water supply that draws wildlife that is broadly representative of the Serengeti’s species.
The Great Migration herds dispersed over the central plains, migrating south, during the brief rainy season in November and December is a spectacle to see. As the hundreds of thousands of migrating animals make their way back up north, during the longer rainy season, which lasts from April to June the day will be filled with breathtaking experiences.
After an amazing day spent exploring the Serengeti’s middle plains, you’ll return to your camp for a hot meal and some evening relaxation.

Descend from the Crater’s rim to the floor and experience one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World and the most amazing geological feature in Africa. Formed three million years ago, and with a distinctive habitat, the crater is home to one of the densest wildlife populations on earth.
Get to explore and discover nearly every animal species of the East African savanna in the grass steppes and acacia forest, including the “Big Five” (rhino, elephant, Cape buffalo, lion, leopard). With more than 500 species of bird, the crater is a birder’s paradise.
After a picnic lunch on the crater floor, you may return to your accommodation.

Enjoy a full day at the lively village of Mto wa Mbu. Local guides will help you explore the community living adjacent to Lake Manyara. From the huge banana plantations that support the economy of the residents to the local markets bursting with activity. Experience the lifestyle and rituals of the colorful Maasai tribe by visiting Maasai boma (village). You can also partake on a biking tour of the area.

Proceed to the Tarangire NP from your accommodation after an early breakfast. Observe large elephant herds and exotic creatures including lions, buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, warthogs, and other wildlife as you take on the majestic baobab filled park that adds amazing experience to the park.
The Tarangire River, which is another highlight of the park, turns into the greatest stop to see all the species that is found in the park during the dry season (July to October). Tarangire is a bird lover’s delight with more than 500 different bird species, including the Maasai Ostrich, the largest bird in the world.
